Garage Door Repairs in Christchurch & Highcliffe
Cone and Cable replacements
These are the most commonly requested item for garage door repairs. Cone and cable garage door repairs should only be carried out by experienced garage door repair fitters, as incorrect spring adjustments can lead to serious injuries.
New Spindles
These are normally required when a flat spot occurs on the roller. This is usually due to a greased track, resulting in the spindles sliding up and down instead of rolling, causing the garage door to operate inefficiently due to lack of friction. Tracks should therefore always remain dry .
Replacement Locks
We can supply and fit replacement locks
Replacement Hand-Sets
We provide replacement handsets for automated garage door systems. They typically require an on-site programming.
Extra Benefits
When you choose HD Doors for your garage door servicing not only do you get great customer service, we also provide:
Garage door repairs in Christchurch, Highcliffe and nearby
We repair roller, sectional, up & over and side-hinged doors across Dorset and Hampshire from our Highcliffe workshop. Typical jobs are cones and cables, spindles, locks, handsets and spring re-tension — always with a full service of the door and genuine parts where they still exist.
If the door is beyond economic repair we will say so and quote a replacement roller, sectional or up & over door, including automation if you want it. Call or request a callback.
Servicing, not just breakdowns
Annual servicing keeps springs, cables and operators in useful condition. Workmanship on repairs carries a six-month guarantee as listed below. We do not cover Essex or Kent — our catchment is the Christchurch area and about 25 miles around it.
